The delicate wings of the butterfly, adorned with a pattern of very fine lines, are plated in 24-karat gold as is the metal base on which the figurine stands. Each figurine has its individual serial number on the underside of the base, on the bottom of its attractive splinter box, and also in the lovingly designed leaflet that accompanies it.
