Helmsman by Wendt & Kühn
Our Helmsman by Wendt & Kühn has traveled the wide seas, seen the faraway beaches, encountered many a strong breeze, and engaged in a little bit of adventure. Our Helmsman will take you on great journeys, the steering wheel firmly in their hands. They navigate safely through the waves. Grete Wendt designed the Helmsman in 1959 for an insurance company in Hamburg. She named him Jan Kimm, because he always keeps his eyes on the chine (German: “Kimm”) – the point where the sky and the sea meet.
