Angels with Easter eggs were designed by Grete Wendt around 1924, and produced probably until the mid-1930s. The blue-grey base color of this Easter egg is decorated with fine lines. They are applied with a steady hand. A particular feature is that the wings of this angel are painted in a soft antique-rose and decorated with eleven gold dots, remaining true to the original historic sample. This special feature, coupled with the delicate embellishments on the Easter egg, give the angel a childlike simplicity that brings joy way beyond the Easter festival.
