Marguerite Angels by Wendt & Kühn

Wendt & Kühn Marguerite Angel Collection from Jordanwood

Lovingly they wrap the gifts, quickly knit the last stitches of a warm winter scarf and make sure their faithful friends have a few grains of corn – the Wendt & Kühn Marguerite Angels.  As Santa’s hardworking little helpers they seem to carry out their work with a mystical, effortless calm, and it is during Advent they really come into their own.  With  their pale blue wings,  little white dresses and garlands of Marguerites around their heads, they master all the tasks with bravura.  And always with a gentle smile.
U
tterly charming in their youthful lightheartedness: the German Wooden Angels from Wendt & Kühn. Preciously sweet, individuals with meticulously, painted facial features.  Olly Wendt first designed a six-piece Marguerite Angel set sitting on a bench in 1935. Her series has been extended through the years with many other imaginative designs – with these little angels now at home all around the world.
