While we were overseas our favorite place was to go to Seiffen Germany and visit the WENDT & KUHN shop and look at all the many hundreds of beautiful handmade items. I loved looking at all the displays about how each item was developed and made step by step and seeing the old suitcases with little wooden people strapped inside on shelves so that a traveling salesman could show his wares.
